What the inspector was looking at
Fencing leaning or down. Garages with failing framing or roofs. Sheds past saving. Structures put up at some point without a permit.
What happens if you leave it
Small items keep the case open just as effectively as large ones. It is a shame to have everything else done and still be at a hearing over a garage door.
